Our innovative 5-axis cutting head, the Tilter45, represents a major step forward in waterjet cutting. This advanced solution is specially developed to handle both angle compensation of cuts and bevel cutting up to 45 degrees, opening up a range of new possibilities in machining. Tilter45 works with a fixed TCP (Tool Center Point), which means that no compensations in the X, Y or Z axis are needed
With angle compensation, we eliminate the problem of tapered cuts, which is common in traditional waterjet cutting. By adjusting the angle of the cutting head in real time, we can create precise and straight cuts, even when cutting thicker materials. This means higher accuracy and reduced need for post-processing.
The bevel cutting function up to 45 degrees also gives us the ability to create complex geometries and customized cutting profiles. This is particularly useful in industries where detailed cuts and bevels are essential, such as in metalworking, the stone industry and the production of specialized components.
