We are proud to present our latest cutting head – Tilter14.
The Tilter14 is designed to adjust the cutting angle and thus eliminate angular errors on cuts typical of waterjet cutting. The Tilter14 has a robust, compact design that allows for high precision. The cutting head operates with a fixed TCP (Tool Center Point), which means that no compensations in the X, Y or Z axis are needed. The design is compact to optimize rigidity and precision in A and B axis movements.
Tilter14 is equipped with a high precision height sensor and integrated spray protection. This height sensor ensures that the cutting head is always at the correct distance from the material for precise geometry of the cut part. The cutting head is equipped with our proven IDE diamond mixing chamber for maximum lifespan and improved cutting results.
Using the IGEMS CAD/CAM software, the TVL function in combination with a calibrated material database makes precise angle compensation possible. Correct dimensions are always obtained, without angle errors on finished parts.
